I'm an author and raconteur (which has nothing to do with raccoons, I've checked). I try not to take life too seriously, and tend to crack jokes at the most inappropriate times (funerals, mother-in-law's new hairdo, employment tribunals etc).

​I think you could describe me as a prolific writer, a devotee of Fiorentina pizza, and a lover of baby goats (in the non-biblical sense), and also warm courgettes (in the biblical sense).

I'm also an enthusiastic collector of shoes and lipsticks, and a reluctant collector of ex-husbands!
